Alameda County Superior Court Digital Evidence Disclaimer

Digital evidence may contain sensitive, confidential, or proprietary information. All parties are required to handle such evidence in compliance with applicable privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and the Court's confidentiality policies. Unauthorized disclosure may result in legal penalties.

Technical Limitations

The Court is not responsible for technical issues, including file compatibility, data corruption, or other errors that may arise during the submission, review, or display of digital evidence. It is the responsibility of the submitting party to ensure that the evidence is in an acceptable format and accessible for review.

Data Security

While the Court implements measures to protect submitted digital evidence, it cannot guarantee absolute security against unauthorized access or breaches. Parties are encouraged to follow secure submission protocols and retain copies of their original evidence.

Submission and Deadlines

Digital evidence must be submitted in accordance with the Court's rules, including formatting requirements, deadlines, and submission procedures. Late or improperly submitted evidence may be rejected at the discretion of the Court.

Disclaimer of Liability

The Alameda County Superior Court is not liable for any loss, damage, or misuse of digital evidence submitted to the Court, including but not limited to technical issues, unauthorized access, or rejection of evidence.
